Job Description The buyer will be responsible for responding to manufacturing demand requests and place purchase orders for needed materials to meet manufacturing requirements.
Participate in the discovery of new sources, negotiating pricing, supply stream establishment and part/print compliance to engineering requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of purchasing and supply chain concepts APICS, CPIM, NAPM certification is a plus Experience with Microsoft Office products and other software EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Associate degree or equivalent training.
