Position
Summary:
Mount plates per customer specifications for converting equipment lines in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site s business goals and objectives.
Essential Functions & Key
Responsibilities:
- Mount plates per customer specifications, meeting cycle time and accuracy requirements using safe work practices.
- Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork.
- Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP)
- Receive and inspect incoming & returned materials and supplies and track usage in database.
- Detailed oriented; must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch.
- Support all production activities as they relate to plate mounting.
- Participate in Preventative Maintenance Activities as assigned.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
- Actively engage in safety programs.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Minimum of six months experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process.
- Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace.
- Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence.
- Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
- Record of dependability & reliability.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
