Pre-Press Comp Tech

Position
Summary:

Mount plates per customer specifications for converting equipment lines in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site s business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions & Key
Responsibilities:

  • Mount plates per customer specifications, meeting cycle time and accuracy requirements using safe work practices.
  • Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork.
  • Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP)
  • Receive and inspect incoming & returned materials and supplies and track usage in database.
  • Detailed oriented; must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch.
  • Support all production activities as they relate to plate mounting.
  • Participate in Preventative Maintenance Activities as assigned.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
  • Actively engage in safety programs.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Minimum of six months experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process.
  • Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace.
  • Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence.
  • Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Record of dependability & reliability.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
